The extensions are glued under the edge of the frame to the wheel arch. Additional fastening with screws is recommended.

The extension is 70 millimeters wide in total, of which 20 millimeters are used for assembly and 50 millimeters then protrude outward to cover the tires.

The factory backing film is removed and the extension can be securely attached to a clean surface/bar edge

Assembly instructions:

The mounting surface must be smooth, rust-free, thoroughly cleaned and free of grease.
The ambient temperature and the temperature of the components or assembly surface at the time of assembly and for 24 hours thereafter must be at least 20 °C
After removing the 3M tape film, the expansion must be pressed evenly onto the mounting surface, pressing firmly for approx. 1 minute.
Cut the ends of the extension to match the vehicle's appearance with a sharp carpet knife.
Leave the vehicle standing for at least 24 hours after installation, preferably 48 hours
The final strength of the bandage is only reached after 48 hours.
Do not wash the vehicle for at least 48 hours
In some installation situations, especially if the installation instructions cannot be followed, additional fastening is required, e.g. B. Sheet metal fastening screws, frame adhesive, primer are recommended
