I do not recommend!!! I installed this rack in a 2019 Alko chassis trailer. The bar mounting tube is so narrow (intended for a narrow bar) that the rack has to be installed really far forward, which makes it easy to attach the bikes to the car and increases the weight of the bar. However, I was able to install the rack almost to the gas bottle holder, but not with the included U-rings but by building the brackets myself. The rack was partially assembled and all the pipes had hard protective plastic left around them, which took over an hour to remove and the rack had to be disassembled further to get the plastic out of the joints. The mounting straps in the tire groove are plastic and stiff, as is the surface of the upper supports that holds the bike to the frame, so it does not support properly. In addition, the locking upper support tightening nut started to spin freely the first time I used it and I could not get the bike off the rack, this was fixed by getting 8mm wing nuts from a hardware store to replace them. I haven't seen a similar rack from Thule, but I regret saving up and buying Berger.
