IP44: foreign objects and splash-proof

ROCO and MIXO energy meters comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and are approved for electricity billing.
The use of uncalibrated electricity meters for billing is an administrative offence punishable by a fine of up to 50,000 euros (Section 60) (in Germany).
