The hatch can - depending on the model - be opened using a crank or gas spring support to ventilate the car, simply by lifting or tilting it from all four sides.
The large glass overlap also allows the glass hood to be opened in the rain without water getting into the vehicle.

TÜV approval according to Section 19. 3(4) may be required after installation.
