On vehicles with leaf springs, an air bellow is installed between the frame and the rear axle to support the existing leaf springs.
The VB-SemiAir is supplied as a two-chamber system, so the air beams are not connected to each other. 2-circuit systems ensure that small charge differences can be balanced separately on the left and right.
For this purpose, the VB-SemiAir is supplied with a drain/fill valve.
Explanation of single-circuit/dual-circuit system:

Single-circuit system: Both air bellows are connected to each other.
They are filled through a common line. In a 1-circuit system, only one pressure gauge is needed to monitor the air pressure in the entire system.
The 1-circuit system is only suitable if the wheel loads on the rear axle are the same on both sides and the vehicle load is completely even.

Dual-circuit system: The left and right air bellows are separate, so they can be filled with different pressures.
2 pressure gauges are required to monitor the pressure.
The ability to change the pressure separately means that load-dependent wheel load differences can be easily compensated for. Imbalance can be compensated for.
