The automatic ignition system (not in the S 2200 P version) guarantees flawless ignition and monitors the flame, and attempts to ignite automatically if the flame goes out.

In addition, a thermoelectric flame arrester monitors the combustion process and if the flame goes out, the gas supply to the heater is automatically closed.
